FAQs

There are two performance times?
Yes! We know everyone gets a little antsy so we try to keep our recital(s) to about an hour. You will be notified whether your registered student(s) will need to be in both the 2pm and 4pm performance, or just one of them.

Do I need a second ticket if I want to attend both performances?

Tickets are good for either show, and attendees are welcome to attend both performances with the same ticket as long as they hold onto that ticket stub! 🙂

What about Friday night?

Typically, Friday night is for setting up and for our students involved in group pieces to rehearse. If your student(s) is not in a group piece but would still like to sit in on Friday evening group rehearsal, please message us.

What is the T-shirt design this year?

A surprise of course! As you know, each student will go home with their very own t-shirt that they will wear for, and be unique to this year's spring recital. Mom, Dad, this is also the only time of the year that you can get your hands on a recital t-shirt as well, make sure to request one when you register.

Do Students need a ticket?
Students that are performing do not need a ticket. There is a $20 registration fee per student that covers their admission, a recital t-shirt and performance materials.

What should students bring?

Please bring your sheet music and your instrument(s) to both the Friday rehearsal and our Saturday performance.

We've ordered tickets. When do we pick them up?

Once you've purchased your tickets, you're good to go. Tickets will be available for pick up at the music studio a few weeks before our recital date. Make sure to ask at lessons.

Can I attend even if my student is not participating?

Yes! We'd love that (and they will too). Although participating in this year's recital is highly encouraged and a great way to showcase a student's talents, it can take a lot of courage to get up in front of everyone. As long as you purchase tickets in time, you're welcome to attend ?

What should students wear to spring recital?

For our spring recital, all students are encouraged to wear their recital shirts and dress-casual attire. (Think jeans or slacks and nice shoes.) Later in the year for our winter concert, is when we encourage more of a formal/fancy dress code.
